Acomo’s food safety approach and Quality and Food Safety Policy focus on establishing robust quality and food safety management systems to manage risks and hazards. System effectiveness is validated through internal and external audit processes, by ensuring quality, food safety and integrity of products sourced, manufactured, and distributed across markets.

The company has set ambitious targets to drive meaningful progress. We aim to achieve 100% GFSI certified own operations by 2030 and 90% GFSI certified third party operations by 2030. This ensures comprehensive quality standards throughout the entire supply network.

GFSI certification of Van Rees India

Van Rees India officially obtained the FSSC 22000 certification, a food safety standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). This milestone marks a significant step forward and demonstrates our commitment to food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

This certification delivers multiple benefits beyond safer operations and improved efficiency. It opens access to new markets and strengthens trust with customers worldwide. The GFSI certification provides clear evidence to our partners that we meet global food safety standards and take quality seriously, reinforcing our position as a reliable supplier in the international tea market.
